Con mucha frecuencia recibo esta pregunta, sobre todo cuando cuento que tengo la fortuna de levantarme cada día a hacer lo que amo, y aquí está mi respuesta:
No, no siempre tuve claro mi propósito de vida. Es más, durante muchísimos años pensé que no tenía dones ni talentos únicos.
Veía cómo tanta gente amaba lo que hacía y vivía con tanta pasión, mientras yo cuidaba un empleo, que aunque durante muchos años me dio estabilidad y muchas oportunidades de crecimiento en todas las áreas, cada vez disfrutaba menos.
Además, por un proceso de reestructuración interna empezaron a despedir a muchas personas, entre esas grandes amigos y personas a quienes quería muchísimo, y tuve que vivir muy de cerca esos duelos, ese salir a la fuerza de una zona de confort y quedar a la deriva, sintiendo cómo después de invertir tanta vida en una empresa, un día, simplemente, ya no los necesitaban.
Ahí comprendí que la vida no puede ser simplemente eso, dedicarme a un empleo donde siempre voy a ser fácilmente reemplazable, y que vinimos a este mundo para mucho más que sólo sobrevivir.
Hoy puedo decirte que mi vida cambió cuando descubrí lo que en realidad pone a vibrar mi alma, lo que me apasiona, lo que disfruto hacer cada día, y sobre todo, cuando elegí dedicarme a ello.
